Dear Reader, who is interested in counselling!
We would like to draw your attention to our counselling course starting every September, which includes both theoretical and practical modules. The theoretical modules take place once every eight weeks. The times of the practical modules you can choose from is announced in advance.
The course helps the personal counselling by providing Biblical and psychological knowledge. The participants are going to acquire the basics of how to lead a conversation, learn about some effective counselling methods, and will get help in identifying which area of counselling to apply in the given situation, based on the many faceted problems. By the end of the course both the knowledge and competency levels of the students will increase, hence their counselling service can become more effective.
Not only do we find faith based problems in our churches, but also in our lifestyles, our relationships, or sometimes psychological issues. That is why it is important to train counsellors and to provide opportunities for them to improve their existing knowledge in this area. The things learnt can be used to solve the psyche-related problems we see in our neighbourhood. During our course, the personality of our students can also improve, and if necessary, their soul can get healed. We are excited to see you there!

Group supervision (2 days).
The participants of the course bring a case study from their own life. The counsellor can get stuck in the counselling process because of their own involvement and being drawn into the situation, therefore they need supervision. The person who brings the case will be able to see themselves and the problems they have brought from the point of view of the supervisor and that of the group, and it can help them to move on as they assist that person in need of help.
Bible drama (1 day)
Experimental studying God’s Word where there is an opportunity to deepen our knowledge of God and self. This way we shape our counselling attitude with a new method and participation.
One-on-one supervision (1 hour)
Provides an opportunity to discuss particular counselling cases. The participant of the course brings the case.
Self-reflection (3 hours)
It reveals the unconscious way of thinking and acting based on prior patterns and the false final cause. This so-called life-map helps reconsider the way of thinking and release the person to change their behaviour.
